Hyderabad Marathon:
170 runners ran for IshaVidhya, of whom 96 took on the 21km challenge. Amazingly, we had two 12-year-oldkids who ran 21km and also two below 10, who ran the 5 km race. DuraiMurugancompleted the 42km full marathon wearing IshaVidhya t-shirt, a first for us in Hyderabad!
KSK Ventures& Citadel supported with contributions while 70 employees from Googleand 12 from Foxfire ran for IshaVidhya. Suresh Turaga is the largest individual fundraiser so far. We are still receiving donations from those who had promised earlier so the final amount is not known.

Radio City Campaign:
Radio City Coimbatore (91.1 FM) organized listener activity "Kalviku Kai Kodupom" Let us lend a hand for education) in July to collect books, stationery items and school bags for underprivileged children. IshaVidhya was selected as the partner for this Coimbatore based program. The radio station organized this program for the second year. Listeners were urged to participate by donating stationary items at collection centres.
The collected material was distributed among IshaVidhya schools and schools adopted by Isha under Government School Adoption Program.

Delhi Marathon:
Supporters are working hard to ensure a massive team of 500+ runners at Delhi Half Marathon, which takes place on 24th Nov ’13. Come and join us. Walk or Run with us, spread the awareness and if possible, help us raise funds. Contacts us at del.marathon@ishavidhya.org or call at 9873690935.
The team practices every Sunday at Nehru Park, Lodhi Road, near Lenin Statue at 6.30 am. Practice walks/runs will start in other locations across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, etc. soon. Join the fun, let us run for IshaVidhya and be the biggest single group at the Delhi Half Marathon!
