Sevathon 2014:
Isha Vidhya won a booth at the TieCon 2014, the biggest entrepreneurial event, with the help of votes from its supporters. Every year, TieCon give booth space at its prestigious conference by running a contest for NGOs participating at Sevathon. By calculating the number of votes in favor of the NGOs and the runners participating for the NGO, the winners are chosen. Along with 3 other NGOs, Isha Vidhya will be showcasing their project on the 16th and 17th of May 2014.
Isha Vidhya supporters will be running/walking in the Sevathon 2014 in the San Francisco Bay area. Please join us as participant, donor and/or cheering crowd. The team at the bay area has set up a fundraising target for themselves. You can learn about it here and help them surpass it by donating and spreading the word.

Youth Spark Bonus Day:
Microsoft's Youth Spark Bonus Day will start on the 25th of June, 2014 (12 pm EDT) and end on the 26th of June, 2014 (11.59 pm EDT). Microsoft will match donations made in this time period by 100%, maximum of $1000 per single donor, until they have reached the maximum of $200,000.

Hyderabad Marathon:
Hyderabad Marathon registrations have started. Please enter your name in the form and we will contact you with further details of the registration process.
The Marathon tales place on the 24th of August, 2014 when we will relive the memory of running for Isha Vidhya and raising funds for its infrastructure expenses. Education is the most uplifting service we can provide for others, as well as giving food. By supporting a child's full educational expense, we not only educate the child but also ensure that it gets one nutritional, well-balanced meal every school day through the year.

Hyderabad Rotary Walk :
Rotathon, a 5km walk, was held at Necklace Road, Hyderabad towards the goal of "Total Literacy Mission" in South Asia by Rotary International. This walk was conducted by the Rotary Club of Secunderabad West. The purpose of the walk was to raise funds for school projects, of which Isha Vidhya was one of the beneficiaries.
Around 600 people participated in the walk, including 100 Isha meditators. They walked the 5km stretch with Isha Vidhya banners, helping create good visibility for Isha Vidhya. The participants were a mixture of members of other Rotary Clubs and corporations and college students.
