Melbourne Marathon:
The First In Australia!
On Sunday, 27th July 2014, 15 Isha volunteers in Australia donned their shoes and spirits to run for Isha Vidhya in the Melbourne Marathon. For some, it was their first participation in an event of this scale. Wearing the Isha Vidhya shirt, they were distinctively visible.
The bonhomie among the Isha runners made the participation a great delight. A shared determination to contribute towards education of rural poor, brought them closer as a group. They raised over $2500 in a short time. Cheers to all for a good show!

Sevathon 2014:
Sevathon 2014 saw 124 participants wearing Isha Vidhya t-shirts, proudly proclaiming their commitment to contribute towards providing quality education to under-served rural kids. On June 22nd a sea of humanity - toddlers, teenagers and the young at heart, could be seen at San Francisco Bay Area partaking of this experience for a common good. The Isha Vidhya coordinating team are delighted to announce that they managed to reach the target of $50,000 in donations. We thank all the participants and donors for supporting us.
